We are seeking an experienced Commercial Irrigation Technician to join our team in the Perth Central area. This role involves the maintenance, inspection, and installation of commercial irrigation systems with a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Must have proven experience Working on Business parks, schools, sports fields, municipalities, campuses

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of irrigation systems
• Perform inspections and testing on commercial irrigation systems
• Program irrigation controllers to meet operational requirements
• Modify existing irrigation systems and install new systems
• Operate small plant and equipment
• Maintain tools, equipment and plant to maintain a good working order

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial irrigation systems operation and maintenance
• Ability to perform physical manual labour
• Current C Class driver’s licence
• National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol

Skills requirements:

• Reading blueprints and irrigation plans
  
• Advanced hydraulics and water distribution knowledge
  
• Large mainline and lateral line installation
  
• Two-wire and central control systems
  
• Pump stations and booster pump troubleshooting
  
• Flow sensors, master valves, and backflow systems
  
• Smart irrigation tech (weather stations, moisture sensors, remote monitoring)
  
• Working with reclaimed/non-potable water systems
  
• Compliance with municipal regulations
